In February 2025 Peter Mandelson was asked by the FT about his relationship with the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Lord Mandelson offered a forthright response – telling the paper: “I’m not going to go into this. It’s an FT obsession and frankly you can all F off”.
Months later, Lord Mandelson was sacked – and a year later, he’s under criminal investigation.
